CAGESIDE & OR RINGSIDE RULES

MMA CAGE

  1. Matches may take place within an Enclosed MMA Cage or a 5 Rope Boxing Rings (See Below).

  2. The Cage Floor must be a minimum of 30" Above the Arena Floor and no more than 48" Above the Arena Floor.

  3. The Fighting area must be enclosed by a cage-style material.

  4. The enclosed cage shall have a fully padded floor covered with either canvas or vinyl.

  5. The cage material must have a protective vinyl coating.

  6. There must not be any obstruction on any part of the fence surrounding the area in which the fighters are competing.

  7. All posts/corners shall have a cushion/pad.

  8. An enclosed Cage shall be no smaller than eighteen (18) feet in its internal diameter.

  9. Prior to the initiation of any match, the ISCF Event Referee & Representative shall inspect the bout area for safety and the ISCF promoter shall be required to make whatever changes to such area as are necessary in the judgment of the ISCF Event Referee & Representative.

BOXING RING


  1. Boxing Ring Must Have "5" Ropes.

  2. The Ring Floor must be a minimum of 30" Above the Arena Floor and no more than 48" Above the Arena Floor.

  3. The Fighting area must be enclosed by ring ropes.

  4. The ring shall have a fully padded floor covered with either canvas or vinyl.

  5. RING ROPES
    • No less than 5 (FIVE) Ropes.
    • Not less than 1" in diameter Bottom rope = 6" - 10" above the Ring Floor, Top Rope: 52" above the Ring Floor.
    • The bottom rope must be padded with a padding of a thickness not less than 1/2".
    • Soft rope ties shall connect all ropes approximately every 6' apart.
    • All ropes shall be tight and approved by the ISCF event representative prior to the event.

  6. There must not be any obstruction on any part of the ring surrounding the area in which the fighters are competing.

  7. All corners shall have Corner Pads.

  8. The Ring shall be no smaller than seventeen (17) feet square or round.

  9. Prior to the initiation of any match, the ISCF Event Referee & Representative shall inspect the bout area for safety and the ISCF promoter shall be required to make whatever changes to such area as are necessary in the judgment of the ISCF Event Referee & Representative.
