  • Officials on an ISCF Event must be ISCF Event Officials.
    • Officials CAN NOT work a corner for a fighter during a show they are an official on.
    • Officials CAN NOT work with fighters on the event they are officials on. This includes helping with hand wrapping, warming fighters up, etc. etc.
    • Officials of course CAN NOT be an official on a bout where they know or train one or both of the fighters. If you are an official and see a fighter that you know well on a bout you may be assigned to work, it is your duty and responsibility to EXCUSE yourself from the bout so that the event Representative can assign a replacement for you.
  • The IS NOT an issue about our TRUST in you as an ISCF Official. Of course we have great trust in your integrity or none of you would be an official with the ISCF. This is about the PERCEPTION of what others who are watching may think they are seeing. NONE of us can afford to be or want to be a victim of misunderstood PERCEPTION.

ALL ISCF Event Officials Must Be A Minimum of 18 Years of Age

It is Mandatory for you to use ONLY ISCF Certified Officials on your ISCF Sanctioned event.
When organizing your events you may also want to schedule an ISCF Officials Certification Seminar for your Future Officials who are not ISCF Approved-Certified. This seminar can be conducted by a selected ISCF Representatives. Please ask the ISCF Headquarters what ISCF Representatives are Qualified to give such seminars. Below you will find the list of ISCF


If you are a Qualified, Skilled and Experienced MMA Official you may not need to take an ISCF Officials Certification Course if you can have an ISCF Certified Certification Instructor Endorse you and your ability.
However, ALL ISCF Event Officials must still Register with the ISCF.

SEMINARS & CERTIFICATION


  • ISCF TIMEKEEPER CERTIFICATION
    1. STEP ONE - CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
      • This Seminar will run at most, 1 hour.
      • The timeframe will depend upon the number of participants and how quickly the material is covered which could vary due to various questions and responses of the participants.
      • Prospected Timekeepers will be instructed how to run a bout as timed, when to stop the clock, signals to know, etc. etc.
        • COSTS: $50.00.
          This fee shall be paid directly to the Official ISCF Representative giving the Seminar.

    2. STEP 2: LIVE WORK
      • The Prospected Timekeeper will be required to "Shadow Watch" at an ISCF Sanctioned Event so that they can watch how an actual Certified Timekeeper works a bout.
      • During this event they will also be asked to work a minimum of 3 undercard bouts so that they can be reviewed for accuracy by working ISCF Event Timekeeper.
      • The Prospected Timekeeper must be Approved for Accuracy and Judgement by the ISCF Event Representative and Timekeeper working the event.
      • If the ISCF Event Representative feels the Prospected Timekeeper is qualified to become an Official ISCF Certified Timekeeper he/she will inform the individual directly that they are qualified to be an ISCF Event Timekeeper and request them to complete step number 3 below.
      • If not approved, the Prospected Timekeeper needs to discuss with the ISCF Event Representative what they need to work on to become approved.
        • COSTS: There is no fee for the Prospected Timekeeper for this. The scheduling of this step will depend on the availability of the ISCF Event Representative(s) in your region. The Prospected Timekeeper will not have to pay for a ticket to the ISCF event he/she is scheduled to "Shadow Watch" on.

    3. STEP 3: OFFICIAL ISCF CERTIFICATION
      • The final step in becoming an Officially Certified ISCF Timekeeper is to Print out The ISCF Officials Application form found HERE
      • Fill out your form IN FULL and along with it, please Include in your mailing:
        • $50.00 for your Lifetime ISCF Officials License.
        • YOUR FEES INCLUDE
          • Listing on the ISCF Officials Page found HERE.
          • ISCF Officials Polo Shirt.
        • Mail all of the above to: ISCF, P. O. Box 1205, 9250 Cypress Street, Newcastle, CA. 95658.
    4. Once the ISCF reviews your Officials Application Form they will contact your Certification Representative to confirm you shall be granted the title of an ISCF Certified Official and your ISCF Officials Shirt will be mailed out to you.




  • ISCF INSPECTOR & GATE KEEPER CERTIFICATION
    1. STEP ONE - CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
      • This Seminar will run about 1-2 hours.
      • The timeframe will depend upon the number of participants and how quickly the material is covered which could vary due to various questions and responses of the participants.
      • Prospected Inspectors and Gatekeepers will be instructed how to approve handwraps, maintain a locker-room, escort fighters to and from the cage/ring, Proper cage door procedures, cage/ring security, what to watch for in the locker-room, fighters corner, at ringside and much more.
        • COSTS: $50.00.
          This fee shall be paid directly to the Official ISCF Representative giving the Seminar.

    2. STEP 2: LIVE WORK
      • The Prospected Inspectors and Gatekeepers will be required to volunteer work at a minimum of 3 ISCF Sanctioned Events so that they can learn how to work this position with an assistant.
      • The Inspector and/or Gatekeeper must be Approved of their work by the ISCF Event Representative and assistant working with them while working the event.
      • After their third event, If the ISCF Event Representative feels the Prospected Inspector and/or Gatekeeper is qualified to become an Official ISCF Certified Inspector and/or Gatekeeper he/she will inform the individual directly that they are qualified to be an ISCF Event Inspector and/or Gatekeeper and request them to complete step number 3 below.
      • If not approved, the Prospected Inspector and/or Gatekeeper needs to discuss with the ISCF Event Representative what they need to work on to become approved.
        • COSTS: There is no fee for the Prospected Inspector and/or Gatekeeper for working their first 3 events. The scheduling of this step will depend on the availability of the ISCF Event Representative(s) in your region. The Prospected Inspector and/or Gatekeeper will not have to pay for a ticket to the ISCF event he/she is scheduled to work.

    3. STEP 3: OFFICIAL ISCF CERTIFICATION
      • The final step in becoming an Officially Certified ISCF Inspector and/or Gatekeeper is to Print out The ISCF Officials Application form found HERE
      • Fill out your form IN FULL and along with it, please Include in your mailing:
        • $50.00 for your Lifetime ISCF Officials License.
        • YOUR FEES INCLUDE

  • ISCF JUDGES CERTIFICATION
    1. STEP ONE - CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
      • This Seminar will run between 1-3 hours.
      • The timeframe will depend upon the number of participants and how quickly the material is covered which could vary due to various questions and responses of the participants.
      • Prospected judges will be shown various fights and circumstances and explanations of why certain decisions are made such as warnings, out calls, point deductions etc. etc...
        • COSTS: $100.00.
          This fee shall be paid directly to the Official ISCF Representative giving the Seminar.

    2. STEP 2: LIVE WORK
      • The Prospected Judge will be required to "Shadow Judge" at an ISCF Sanctioned Event so that their scores can be reviewed for accuracy by the ISCF Event Representative.
      • The Prospected Judge must be Approved for Accuracy and Judgement by the ISCF Event Representative.
      • If the ISCF Event Representative feels the Prospected Judge is qualified to become an Official ISCF Certified Judge he will inform the individual directly that they are qualified to be an ISCF Event Official and request them to complete step number 3 below.
      • If not approved, the Prospected Judge needs to discuss with the ISCF Event Representative what they need to work on to become approved.
      • The scores of this "Shadow Judge" will not count on the "REAL" bout.
        • COSTS: There is no fee for the Prospected Judge for this. The scheduling of this step will depend on the availability of the ISCF Event Representative(s) in your region. The Prospected Judge will not have to pay for a ticket to the ISCF event he/she is scheduled to "Shadow Judge" on.

    3. STEP 3: OFFICIAL ISCF CERTIFICATION
      • The final step in becoming an Officially Certified ISCF Judge is to Print out The ISCF Officials Application form found HERE

        • $50.00 for your Lifetime ISCF Officials License.

  • ISCF REFEREE CERTIFICATION
    1. STEP ONE - CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
      • This Seminar will run between 1-3 hours.
      • The timeframe will depend upon the number of participants and how quickly the material is covered which could vary due to various questions and responses of the participants.
      • Prospected Referees will be shown various fights and circumstances and explanations of why certain decisions are made such as warnings, out calls, point deductions etc. etc...
      • Prospected Referees will work inside a fight ring or cage with fighters who have been given certain scenarios by the Seminar Leader for the prospected referee to react to.
        • COSTS: $200.00.
          This fee shall be paid directly to the Official ISCF Representative giving the Seminar.

    2. STEP 2: LIVE WORK
      • If an ISCF Representative feels the Prospected Referee is qualified to work an Official ISCF Sanctioned Event he can appoint him for work on an ISCF Sanctioned Event.
      • During this event the ISCF Event Representative will review the prospected Referee's work for accuracy and fighter safety.
      • The Prospected ISCF Referee will not be paid for his work on a live ISCF Sanctioned event until he/she has Refereed a minimum of 10 ISCF Sanctioned MMA Bouts.
        • If after his 10th bout worked the ISCF Event Representative(s) who witnessed these bouts feel the Prospected Referee is qualified to become an Official ISCF Certified Referee, he will inform the individual directly that they are qualified to be an ISCF Event Official and request them to complete step number 3 below.
        • If not approved, the Prospected Referee needs to discuss with the ISCF Event Representative what they need to work on to become approved.

    3. STEP 3: OFFICIAL ISCF CERTIFICATION
      • The final step in becoming an Officially Certified ISCF Referee is to Print out The ISCF Officials Application form found HERE
      • Fill out your form IN FULL and along with it, please Include in your mailing:
        • $50.00 for your Lifetime ISCF Officials License.

  • ISCF REPRESENTATIVE CERTIFICATION
    1. STEP ONE - CERTIFICATION SEMINAR
      • This Seminar will run between 1-3 hours.
      • The timeframe will depend upon the number of participants and how quickly the material is covered which could vary due to various questions and responses of the participants.
      • Some of the things the seminar will include;
        • What all is expected of an ISCF Event representative
        • Their required "Follow-up" after each event.
        • Certain scenarios created by the Seminar Leader for the prospected Representative to react to such as fouls in the ring, fight protests, dealing with over-weight fighters.
        • Protocol for an ISCF Title Fight.
        • Official Rules meetings and much more.
        • Pro Fights and handling Pro Purses.
        • Fighter Information.
        • Officials Certification Check.
        • Insurance verification and much more...
      • COSTS: $250.00.
        This fee shall be paid directly to the Official ISCF Representative giving the Seminar.

    2. STEP 2: LIVE WORK
      • The next step is working as a "Shadow Representative." This is where the Prospected Representative works along side of an already Certified ISCF Event Official shadowing his every move. During this time, the ISCF Event Representative may delegate several tasks for the "Shadow Representative" to do as an Associate Representative.
      • During this event the ISCF Event Representative will review the Prospected Representative's work as well as actions he/she takes from certain circumstances that come up before, during and after the event.
      • The Prospected ISCF Representative will not be paid for his work on a live ISCF Sanctioned event until he has "Shadow Represented" a minimum of 2 ISCF Sanctioned MMA Events.
        • If after his/her 2nd ISCF Sanctioned event the Prospected ISCF Representative becomes Qualified for "Approval" by the ISCF Event Representative, the ISCF Event Representative he will inform the individual directly that they are qualified to be an ISCF Event Representative and request them to complete step number 3 below..
        • If not approved, the Prospected Representative needs to discuss with the ISCF Event Representative what they need to work on to become approved.

    3. STEP 3: OFFICIAL ISCF CERTIFICATION
