Steve Crawford
Named VP Of ISCF!

Many here know that when it comes to responsibility beyond ISCF President Steve Fossum and the in house ISCF staff, Steve Crawford's name comes to mind. Crawford has worked with the ISCF since 2003 and year by year has become a more important part of the organization from fresh ideas to the growth of the ISCF itself. During that time he has went from an associated trainer and promoter to right hand man to Fossum. With so much effort on his part to grow the ISCF as well as the sport of MMA itself, it comes as no big surprise that earlier today, ISCF President Steve Fossum appointed Crawford as the new Vice President of the ISCF.

This is Crawford's second VP appointment associated with the parent company International Fight Sports (IFS). - www.IFfightSports.com - IFC President and CEO Steve Fossum appointed Crawford last year to Vice President of the newly formed International Battle League - IBL - www.IBLFights.com - an MMA team fight league Crawford helped develope with Fossum.

Crawford's duties and responsibilities will pretty much stay the same. The obvious change will be in his role with the ISCF in making important decisions. Over the years Fossum has be getting more and more busy with the growth of the ISCF and this past year, the other top organization under the IFS the International Kickboxing Federation, IKF - www.IKFKickboxing.com has also shown strong growth both here in north America and in Europe and Asia.

Crawford's most recent work was in organizing the new ISCF Grappling Division with Fossum. The new division of the ISCF will provide yet another platform for up and coming martial artists to test their skills as grapplers, sanctioned by the ISCF organization.

Crawford's titles are many. Along with being a proud father and husband who shares his passion for MMA with wife Patty, (Who is also an ISCF Certified Official) he is the owner and operator of Crawfords MMA. www.crawfordsmma.com

However, his work does not stop there and neither do his titles. He is the Chief Inspector of MMA for the Kansas Boxing Commission as well as being the chief ISCF Certification Instructor for all ISCF certified officials worldwide. The Founder of American Jujitsu and 7th Dan has an impressive resume to go along with his work in the ISCF. For those wondering what VP Crawford has accomplished, take some time to read below.

"This was an easy decision for me and the ISCF as a whole." Said Fossum. "Steve's work ethic and dedication to MMA, not to mention his passion for everything about the sport makes this a good move for everyone associated with the ISCF. He's a leader we are all proud to be associated with."

ISCF VP
Steve Crawford
Steps Down To Step UP!

As of May 1st, ISCF Vice President Steve Crawford will be seeking a new title with the Missouri State Athletic Commission. Crawford was appointed ISCF Vice President in April of 2009. "This was not an easy decision to make. I am grateful for the relationship I've had with ISCF." says Crawford. "After much consideration, though, I may have a chance to work with the Missouri Athletic Commission. So I am stepping down as Vice President of the ISCF. This will be a great opportunity to continue to keep our adult athletes safe."

To attain the position he is seeking, Crawford will need to disassociate himself with any sanctioning bodies for fight sports for what could be up to 1 year. Because of this the ISCF has had to remove all information on the ISCF site that refers to him as any kind of an ISCF Official from May 1st forward. He will end out his ISCF work as the ISCF Event Representative on Lonnie Dodge's May 11th (108 Promotions) INVICTUS Fighting Championships II at the Ararat Shrine Temple in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

"Steve has been an outstanding part of the ISCF as a regulating official as well as an ambassador for the sport." Says ISCF President Steve Fossum. "He will be greatly missed as a fight sport official with us, but will make a great addition to the Missouri Commission. With his knowledge in Mixed Martial Arts, he would be a much valued asset to ANY Commission!"

Crawford's titles are many. Along with being a proud father and husband who shares his passion for MMA with wife Patty, (Who is also an ISCF Certified Official) he is the owner and operator of Crawfords MMA. www.crawfordsmma.com

"Although he won't hold a title with us, we're sure to keep in contact with Steve with questions or conversations about all of the fight sports and it's many participants." Says Fossum. "We greatly wish Steve the best in the next chapter of his life. We won't wish him luck though. Simply because when one is as good as he is with his work, he won't need any luck... Because he makes his own success without it."

Steven Crawford
Appointed ISCF Missouri President

Steven A. Crawford, Sr

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Newcastle, CA, USA, August 9th, 2017: With the rapid growth of the various fight sport organizations under the International Fight Sports ( www.ifightsports.com ) banner (ISCF MMA, IKF Kickboxing & Muay Thai & IAB Boxing) the ISCF is making additional decisions to delegate some of their regional activities out to certain leaders in the organization. The first to be appointed by the ISCF, International Sport Combat Federation is the appointment of Steven A. Crawford, Sr. as their new ISCF MMA Missouri President.

Steve will assume responsibilities on August 10, 2017 and will take over all operationan activities in Missouri including event sanctioning, scheduling along with the training of event officials. The ISCF has plans to delegate additional states and regions to Steve in the future.

"Basically, we're just becoming too busy with all our organizations." Said IFS CEO ( www.ifightsports.com ) - Steve Fossum. "We sanction and regulate over 2,000 events a year around the world and we need to delegate some of our regions to different leadership. Steve's still the ISCF Vice President but under his VP role he has different duties with the ISCF Worldwide. His appointment to ISCF Missouri President gives him a lot of room to help grow the ISCF there as well as develope a strong group of quality event promoters and train more qualified officials."

Steve has been part of the ISCF team for 17 years, beginning as a Judge before being promoted to Representative then to VP in 2012. During that time Steve accomplished adding over 20 ISCF events a year in Missouri while being responsible for organizing shows and training ISCF Officials such as Judges, timekeepers, inspectors and Referees.
